An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone to join a friendly, outgoing, personable business in the heart of High Wycombe. Following a recent expansion, both internally and in the marketplace, a prestigious business supplying high end stock into the construction market is looking for a competent individual to join them as a CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR. This role will start out as a 6 month FTC, however with growth there is the possibility of a permanent contract and personal progression.

Your role will have various levels and competencies. First of you will be supporting the project management and co-ordination team with their workload. This can be anything from supporting clients with their requirements and updating the client on their current requests and needs.

You will also be completing various bits of administration in relation to:

-Order fulfilment

-Credit control


-Collating information in relation to the project

-Providing and obtaining quotations (both internally and externally)

-Approving purchase orders.

There will also be an element of customer service in the role as well, and you will responsible of answering and diverting calls for members of the team if they are away from their desk. In addition, you will be supporting customers with their questions via email and on the phone.

As a person, you need to be enthusiastic and keen to learn, with the drive and determination to complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, (and arguably most importantly) you will need to be able to have a laugh, and join in with the banter within the office. The cultural dynamic within the office is a key to their success, so you will need to be the extra piece in an almost complete jigsaw puzzle. It would be desirable if you have a knowledge of working within the construction industry, and have had exposure to technical drawings and floor plans.

This role would suit someone from an administration, contract administrator, customer service, sales administration, project management, project co-ordination or construction background.
